 STUDENT POSTER SESSION AND COMPETITION

A Competition for Students and Young Professionals

  • Are you a student, graduate student or young professional who has recently joined the pulp and paper or allied industry?
  • Have you successfully conducted research, implemented a project or have an idea for a project that sustainably drives our industry forward?

We are soliciting abstracts on topics for innovative solutions to compete in a poster session refereed by industry experts. Examples include but are not limited to process improvements in consumption of energy, water and raw materials or the creation of new sustainable products. Student research, senior design or internship projects are also welcome.

Abstracts Deadline: August 21, 2023

All submissions will be peer-reviewed for acceptance. Submit title and 300-word or shorter abstract.

 

HOT TOPICS BREAKFAST AND NEW TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE

 

  • Do you have a HOT TOPIC affecting the industry that may not be ready for a technical paper or a NEW TECHNOLOGY that you would like to share with the industry?

 

If so, we invite you to submit a brief proposal by August 21, 2023. If accepted, you may lead round-table discussions of the topic or present a short introduction of the technology. Technical papers are not required for the Hot Topic Breakfast or New Technology Showcase sessions
