The forest products industry has made significant progress towards advancing sustainability since the launch of AF&PA’s Better Practices, Better Planet initiative. Hear from AF&PA’s Jamie Tiralla to understand the role of collaboration with AF&PA members, industry partners and other stakeholders to shape new sustainability goals for 2030. About Our Keynote Speaker
Jamie Tiralla is Director, Strategic Communications for the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). In this role, she helps coordinate the association’s sustainability program, Better Practices, Better Planet 2030: Sustainable Products for a Sustainable Future. She oversees AF&PA’s brand and provides leadership for sustainability communication across the association. Jamie also coordinates the sustainability progress report working group for the International Council of Forest & Paper Associations (ICFPA) and leads publication of their biennial report. She has a master’s degree in strategic communications from American University and lives in Maryland on her family farm.
